if you’re still under the illusion that you’re going to wake up one day and it will are be easier, you’re going to wake up thirty years from now and find that nothing has changed. yes, it hurts to heal (both physically and mentally), but it’s endurable. like shattered glass, you can choose to ignore the mess and continue to step on the shards. or you can bleed a little, force yourself to pick up the pieces, and move on.
